ABOUT THE AUTHOR
JOYCE KWIDAMA
my story
“My story wasn't written to explain my past,
but to give others their future back.”
Joyce Kwidama is a teacher, trainer, therapist, and writer.
But above all, she is a woman who knows life from the inside out. With a powerful and clear voice, she speaks about faith, healing, family patterns, and the courage to start over.
In addition to the book '5 minutes to 12 is not yet 12', Joyce developed affirmation and quote cards, designed to remind you daily of your strength, your faith, and your direction. These are a perfect addition to your reading process, or as an anchor in a new phase of your life.

Joyce Kwidama is an author, forensic specialist, and MDFT therapist (Multidimensional Family Therapy), with specializations including EMDR and EFT.
In addition, she is a lecturer, coach, and entrepreneur with deep expertise in the fields of trauma, systemic work, and personal development. Thanks to her expertise and human approach, she helps clients not only understand what has shaped them, but above all who they can become beyond their pain. Joyce was born in Curaçao and grew up in a close-knit family where caring, a sense of responsibility, and resilience were second nature. That foundation of connection and inner strength remains the core of her work to this day. She knows from personal experience that no one is separate from their past and that healing begins with acknowledgment.
Joyce works from a deep-rooted Christian conviction that gives direction and stability to her life and her guidance. At the same time, she approaches everyone with openness and respect, regardless of background or life story. Her mission is clear: helping women return to themselves, even before life forces them to. This conviction forms the basis of her book '5 minutes to 12 is not yet 12'.
